Invite other suppliers to join Kipgo and you'll get a discount on your commission when they publish their first listing.
How it works
- Share your unique referral code with another supplier
- They sign up and enter your code during registration
- When their first listing goes live, your commission rate drops by 2%
The discount lasts for 6 months from the date their listing is approved. After that, your rate returns to normal.
Where to find your code
On desktop: Click the gift icon in the header, next to notifications. Your code is shown there — click "Copy" to copy it.
On mobile: The referral card appears at the top of your dashboard. Tap to expand it and copy your code.
Who can you refer
Anyone who isn't already on Kipgo. They can be any supplier type — tour operators, stays, rentals, activity providers, or tour guides. You'll get the discount regardless of what type of supplier they are.
What discount do you get
Your commission rate is reduced by 2% across all your listing types. For example:
- If your tours commission is 18%, it becomes 16%
- If your treks commission is 18%, it becomes 16%
The discount applies to all bookings made during the 6-month period.
Can you refer multiple suppliers
You can share your code with as many suppliers as you like, but you only get one discount. Once you've received your 2% discount from a successful referral, referring more suppliers won't give you additional discounts.
If you refer someone while you already have an active discount, their referral won't count — so it's best to wait until your current discount expires before referring again.
When does the discount start
The discount activates the moment the referred supplier's first listing is approved and goes live. You'll receive an email confirming your new rate and when it expires.
What happens after 6 months
Your commission rate automatically returns to what it was before. You'll see the expiry date in the referral confirmation email.
