How partial refunds work

Bookings

Sometimes a customer receives back only part of what they paid.

When they happen

Partial refunds typically occur when a dispute is resolved in the customer's favour but you did deliver part of the service, or when some compensation is warranted but a full refund isn't appropriate.

Effect on your payout

The partial refund amount is deducted from your payout. If the booking total was Rs 50,000, commission is 15% (Rs 7,500), and a partial refund of Rs 10,000 is issued, your payout would be Rs 32,500.

What you'll see

On the booking details page, an info banner shows the refund type, amount, and when it was processed. If it resulted from a dispute, you'll also see the resolution details.

Partial vs full refund

With a partial refund, the customer gets some money back and you receive a reduced payout. The booking may still show as "Completed" because service was delivered. With a full refund, the customer gets everything back, you receive nothing, and the booking shows as "Cancelled".
