How you're notified
You'll receive an email and a dashboard notification. The booking status changes to "Cancelled" in your list.
Viewing cancellation details
Open the booking to see an info banner showing who cancelled and when.
Before the deadline
The default cancellation window is 4 days before the service start date, but it depends on the listing type. If a customer cancels before this deadline, they receive a full refund and no payout is generated.
After the deadline
Cancellations after the deadline are generally not eligible for refund. However, Kipgo may approve refunds in exceptional circumstances like medical emergencies, natural disasters, government travel restrictions, or death in the family. You'll be notified if a post-deadline refund affects your payout.
Availability restoration
For group tours, treks, and rooms, cancelled bookings automatically restore availability.
